Let me start by saying, thank you Susan! I have never fought a traffic ticket in my 37 years (21 with a drivers license). But this experience made me regret not finding an educated, experienced, and personable attorney like Ms. Deschler in the past. I received a careless driving ticket/summons back in December 2023, and from the beginning I felt that it was absolutely the wrong ticket. I swerved to avoid hitting a deer on my way home from work one morning and unfortunately crashed and totaled my brand new Subaru. I reported it and did everything I knew I needed to. Regardless of my explanation the officer still gave me a careless driving ticket, which is a misdemeanor offense, not to mention a substantial insurance hike for the next few years.
